Below is a video about OpenStreetMap in Afghanistan, HOT member Hameed has been mapping and teaching others to map there over the past two years.
As you can see the Jalalabad City map is quite detailed. Pretty impressive for a place where a reliable fast Internet connection would cost $1000 a month.
